About Us
East Benewah Council on Aging is also known as St Maries Senior Meal Site. We have been feeding seniors in St Maries, Idaho since 1992. Though we exist to ensure seniors in our area are well nourished, anyone is welcome to join us. Meals are served every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at Noon, excluding holidays.
Support our cause
The St Maries Senior Meal Site is partially funded through grants, but is able to continue serving our community through the support of generous donors like you. We accept cash or check donations, as well as contributions through our online giving portal.

How much does it cost to eat?
The suggested donation for those 60 years and older is $7 per meal. The cost for those under 60 is $8 per meal.
Can I get meals delivered?
Delivery of meals is available in a limited delivery area, dependent on availability of volunteer drivers. The cost for a delivered meal is $8.
When do you serve meals?
Meals are served Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at Noon. We are closed on major holidays.
Where are you located?
The St Maries Senior Meal Site is located at 711 West Jefferson Ave in St Maries, Idaho. We are on the ground floor of the University Extension office, behind Benewah Community Hospital.
How can I volunteer?
We are always looking for volunteers to help with delivering meals. Your commitment of less than 30 minutes can make the difference in someone’s day.
How can I make a donation?
We accept Cash or Check donations, but we also have an online giving option here.
What’s on the menu?
Our menu varies each month, but you can look forward to a nutritious meal, served with soup, dessert, and a beverage of your choice. The menu is posted on our Facebook page each month.
